HOPE: There IS a future and each one of us is part of it. Engaging it will require risk and daring, but it will happen only if we live this vision of hope together.

CND LIFE: We desire to be connected with the larger CND to which we are deeply bonded.

CONTEMPLATION: We need to keep ourselves grounded in a deep contemplative space, where our God-selves come alive. In our busy lives, we desire to carve time for contemplation.

BALANCE: We desire balance in our lives and often struggle to get it.

CONSCIOUSNES of our Universe: Ongoing consciousness of all of creation is a must for our future – the greening of our lives and ministries – the deeper consciousness of our planet – educating our children to responsibility for this planet by the way we ourselves live today; compassion for the most vulnerable, etc…

PROVINCE MISSION STATEMENT: Are there ways of engaging in something concrete at the Province level that would enflesh our 2009 Visitation Mission/Vision Statement? How can we as a Province move more towards care of the earth and changing mindsets and consciousness (i.e. hybrid cars, building green…). Are we committed to encouraging those who desire to move in that area? Are we committed financially? This has implications on the way we live.

VOICE: It is often difficult to find our voice and to use it, but find it and use it we must. How do we do that, individually, together as a Province and as a Congregation? How can we support the voices of our Sisters?

HOMELESSNESS: How do we live healthily in a Church in which so many feel/are homeless? Where do we find home? Where do we provide home for people? How do we help each other grieve the losses of closures of CND residences, etc… Will anything replace what was? How will we be together when there are no longer large enough places to gather? What needs to be put into place? It seemed to us that what we are living as a Province, is a certain “homelessness of loss”….
